About Apollo

Is Apollo a new machine?

Apollo has already been in the market. We stepped back from promoting it to improve the body, frame and key mechanical parts. The reintroduction brings those changes together under the independent Apollo brand. Explore Apollo’s history and real footage →

What materials can the main Apollo run?

Apollo is made for standard ground or milled cannabis flower. Dry kief and dry hash are the only compatible infusion types. It is not compatible with distillate, resin-infused material or extremely sticky ground flower.

OilCoat and KiefCoat are separate downstream machines for exterior coating of finished pre-rolls. Their capabilities do not extend the filler’s material compatibility.

Can Apollo fill cigarette-style straight tubes?

Yes. Apollo supports Futurola straight tubes as well as the standard tapered cone formats. The 84/26 Straight Slender has a cigarette-style appearance with a slight taper: Futurola lists a 9 mm opening, 7.8 mm base and 26 mm crutch. Its nominal capacity is approximately 0.5 g. Confirm tooling, target fill, finishing and production rate for your application.

Where can I find the spec sheet?

Download the Apollo spec sheet (PDF). For purchasing, request a current proposal that identifies the exact model, configuration and included equipment.

What do the photographs and videos show?

Current interior photographs, earlier-machine operating footage and illustrative renders are labeled separately. Historical footage shows Apollo’s market history; it is not a measured test of the redesigned machine.

02 / FAQ

Documentation & training

Does the 2023 SOP apply to the redesigned Apollo?

The supplied Ground Flower Preparation SOP is number 118, Revision 0, dated February 23, 2023. It refers to Apollo Pro. Treat it as a legacy reference and ask the Apollo team for the documentation applicable to your machine and revision.

Reference: SOP 118 · cover

What training should my team receive?

The SOP calls for employee training in the applicable procedures, quality checks and safety requirements. Confirm the training scope, responsible personnel and documentation with your proposal. Operators and service personnel should also receive the safety training appropriate to their responsibilities.

Reference: SOP 118 · p. 3; OSHA guidance

What records does the SOP call for?

Keep batch identifiers, processing dates and quality-control results so records can be traced to the relevant batch. The SOP also calls for batch tracking and accountability. Your quality team should define the approved forms, review process and retention requirements.

Can an internet FAQ replace the machine manual?

No. Use the documentation approved for your specific machine and your facility’s procedures. This FAQ explains common ownership and documentation questions; model-specific service instructions belong in the applicable manual.

03 / FAQ

Care & workplace safety

What does the SOP say about hygiene?

It calls for clean hands, gloves, a clean work environment and established sanitation protocols to reduce contamination risk. Training and documented responsibilities are part of that program.

Reference: SOP 118 · p. 3

How often should equipment be maintained?

The SOP requires a regular maintenance schedule but does not establish a complete maintenance interval table for the redesigned Apollo. Obtain the applicable schedule and approved cleaning instructions for your machine, and keep service records.

Reference: SOP 118 · p. 3; Apollo documentation guidance

Is pressing Stop enough before servicing equipment?

Do not treat a Stop button as proof that hazardous energy has been isolated. Electrical, mechanical and pneumatic energy can remain hazardous during servicing. Have trained, authorized personnel follow the machine-specific energy-control procedure and your facility’s lockout/tagout program.

Reference: OSHA: Control of Hazardous Energy

Does a mention of NSF-rated equipment certify the whole machine?

No. The legacy SOP mentions an NSF-rated accessory; that wording does not establish certification of the entire Apollo machine. NSF certification is specific to the product and certification scope. Verify the exact product in the applicable listing and request supporting documentation.

04 / FAQ

Buying & support

What are Apollo’s electrical requirements?

The redesigned main Apollo requires 110 V AC at 60 Hz, with rated apparent power of ≤500 VA. Phase, required circuit amperage and plug / receptacle type remain to be confirmed for your configuration. The VA rating is not a circuit-breaker specification.

Confirm requirements separately for any external compressor, checkweigher or Coating Series machine. View electrical requirements or download the specifications.

Reference: Apollo Pro specification; applicability to redesigned Apollo confirmed October 22, 2026

What should be confirmed in a proposal?

Ask for the exact equipment configuration, installation requirements, delivery terms, training, spare-parts arrangements and written warranty and service terms. Confirm which items are included and which are quoted separately.
