“Infused” is a broad product description. It does not tell a buyer where an added material sits, how the product is assembled or what equipment will be needed. For production planning, the distinction between material inside the pre-roll and a finish on its exterior is a useful starting point.

Custom Cones USA separates equipment for internal blending, injection and external coating in its product range. That is a reminder to describe the intended product before selecting machinery. These are different production approaches, not interchangeable names for one operation.

What does kief-coated mean?

An exterior kief finish creates a visibly different surface. Jeeter’s own Baby Jeeter page describes its products as infused and dusted in kief. It is an example of the format in the market; it does not establish who invented the format or imply a relationship with Apollo.

Evaluate the complete finished item

Apollo’s proposed evaluation framework starts with a written product brief: approved input materials, the intended appearance, finished dimensions, packaging and the records needed for release. Ask to see samples before and after handling, rather than judging only a freshly finished surface.

Separate visual consistency from laboratory results. Neither a photograph nor a coating animation establishes potency, safety or regulatory acceptance. As one jurisdiction-specific example, New York’s February 2026 testing document explicitly distinguishes raw pre-rolls, kief and infused pre-rolls among final-product categories. A producer should confirm the applicable requirements for its own product and market.

Apollo filling and exterior coating

Apollo is made for standard ground or milled cannabis flower. Dry kief and dry hash are the only compatible infusion types. It is not compatible with distillate, resin-infused material or extremely sticky ground flower.

Apollo OilCoat and Apollo KiefCoat handle separate exterior-coating steps after filling and finishing, with an operator transfer between them. Confirm coating configuration, throughput, pricing and availability with the team.
